so i'm considering buying one of these to voice chat online.
but what do i get? i want those single earpiece headsets but they seem to be made for certain cell phones? is it possible to just plug it into your laptop and it will work just the same? also what size is the plug? 2.5mm or 3.5mm for laptops and headsets?
anyone know good places to get some too?

If you already have the cellphone headset that is 2.5mm and prefer to use that, you are still in luck:

actually i don't even have one yet that's why i wanted to buy one.
