Eating Before 6 helps you lose weight?

I've been trying this for awhile, and I don't really see that much of a difference, and I also exercise + do that bahn sin yohk thing a couple of times a week.
Have any of you guys had experience with this? I'm just curious...

Of course, you'll need to exercise too.. It's not like your body can burn those calories fast on its own. You need to make your metabolism faster by working out.

along with that there's exercise and the right amount of food during teh day
it does help but you could do it even if you eat after 6

alot of asians dont eat after 6 .
but my family eats vietnamese food after 6 tho .
like dinner. but if its like fast food. then we go eat at like 5.
i think is true. you wont lose weight . but you wont GAIN weight .
since at 9ish you go to sleep . & tat makes ur body lazy . & tat
will make you fat .
i duno . from my point of view .

I always eat at 7-7:30 pm
can't eat earlier because I'm not hungry yet.
If you eat right (low fat & calories food), good portion, you won't get fat no matter what time you eat your meals.

i lost weight by doing this too but thats cause i ate between the hours of 13.00 + 18.00
and it was healthy foods~

but she said stop eating 2 hours before you go to sleep. doesnt have to be 6 i think. & doing that alone wont lose you any weight unless you had a serious eating-after-six or midnight feasting problem before. i reckon you should team this habit up with all the other little weight-loss habits you've picked up. i wil!

i think it should be 3-4 hours before you sleep?
it would be unhealthy if you stop eatting at 6pm and didnt sleep until like 12am which = 6 hours + x hours of sleep.
that's too long to go without food.
you'd just wake up and want to eat even more.

I'll eat whenever I want, I'm not gonna go hungry. But I haven't been eating late at night lately.

My doctor told me the same thing. " A calorie is a calorie".
Eating at night can cause sleep problems and that's it.
You want to lose weight you have to exercise or reduce your calorie intake.
