COUNTERCULTURE
A culture, especially of young people, with values or lifestyles in opposition to those of the establishment culture.
Writers carry a long tradition of "bucking" the norms of society, creating their own worlds, and establishing their own sets of "norms".
ASSIGNMENT:
Write three paragraphs: the first explaining which counterculture you may be influenced by and/or participate in, and another paragraph detailing why this counterculture's beliefs oppose societal "norms".
Find a book that chronicles or is in some way influenced/inspired by the counterculture of you choice. The third paragraph will explain the reasons the author wrote the book and how it may or may have not have influenced your opinion of this counterculture.
It's pretty self explanatory. I just don't know what subject to choose and how to start...i jus need some ideas on countercultures
