if so, can you please talk about your experiences? i'm really curious because i'm interested in applying for undergrad but i got really discouraged when i saw that the acceptance rate was only 7%.

what was your GPA?
and what activities were you involved in?
did you intern at a business?

please! any info would help!

on the haas website the admission rate seems to be around 50%

i'm going to apply to haas too once i get most of my prerequisites done ^^

i saw the 7% from a CAL transfer brochure. grrr... if it's 50%...that's so much better.

yea, the transfer rate is way lower than the "normal" (if you're already a cal student) way.
transfer students get it a lot harder. if you look at the transfer admission rate here: http://www.haas.berkeley.edu/Undergrad/statstransfer.html
you can see that they have a higher GPA average. and of the 1314 students who applied, only 96 were accepted, which was 7%.
