For my school, every class nominates four boys and four girls for their class court, those eight people are a class court (ie: freshmen court). For the senoirs, after nominating 8 people, the seniors vote one boy and one girl to be queen and king. And the other classes vote one boy and one girl to be junior prince and princess, sophmore prince nad princess, and freshmen prince and princess.

Oh and every class court has to do a skit.
I got on it this year. I'm a freshmen. and we have to make our on skit. Supposivly, all the freshmens do really annoying and stupid skits and get booed of stage. I don't want to do that..I want to make it good, funny, and something people will remember. I was really embarassed by this but I thought "hey I could be embarassed and be shy or I can make it really fun and give the whole school something to remember the freshmen court people!"
But the problem is..I can't think of any skits to do. Nor can anyone else on my court.

Have any ideas?


and what is the tradition for homecoming royalaties or courts in your school????? What do you guys do? Ever got it?

All you need is a breakdancer, and you're good to go.

for our homecoming, every class does a skit at lunch for the whole week
then friday is the homecoming game with fireworks and the marching band, and the royalty ride in nice cars around the track
and then saturday is the homecoming dance

ya all you need are breakdancers and references to beating the other school at the game
freshmen really don't stand a chance against the other classes

So 10 people on the Homecoming Court. That's what our school does ...

Except this year, our opposing team forfeited the game like a day before ...

And I think we're having our "homecoming game" during a playoff game even though we already had our HC week and dance. xD

Our homecoming court is all seniors on the sports teams.
Like the football team votes for a girl on the cheerleading squad, they vote for a guy on the football team.
And boys water polo votes for girls tennis, and so on.

Each of our class have class themes, like this year, there was like super heroes, Las Vegas, etc.
Maybe you could pick a theme, like a movie or something.

Haha, yeahhh, the freshmen this year made fun of all the other classes.
And my class just always boo the freshmen when we have a chance.

Our homecoming court consists of 14 seniors - 7 girls and 7 guys.
During our pep rally before homecoming, they all compete in different games.
Then, during the homecoming game, our school rents convertible corvettes and they ride around the football stadium.
After that, the homecoming king and queen are announced based off of who we voted for online.

It was great this year. This guy who used to be an active member of the school got into an accident a few years ago and is now in a wheelchair and has some brain damage. Basically everybody in the whole school voted for him to be our homecoming king. I am so happy that he won. Shows that we do still have some decent people at my school.

haha we didn't do a tradition of the skit this year. instead my court (the freshmen court) decided to film seniors asking them "what they like about their class of 2008" and "what do you not like about freshmen?" and in the video, we edited it and switched the questions so when we asked "what do you think of the seniros" its answered with "they're stupid and annoying" and in "what do you think of freshmen" its all answered with "mature and amazing" lol

and in the end we had a slide that said "step aside seniors, for Lincoln's future"

it was kinda mean but all the teachers thought it was really clever. lol

everyone was like "..." for four seconds. They were in a shock/daze. then four seconds later you see a bunch of people in white shirts standing up, going crazy, and cheering. (it was color wars and we were white).

We also got the freshmen to chant "freshmen power", in the first assembly all the other classes were cheering that while we were like silent and awkward. LOL. We were actually pretty loud, but of course no can beat the seniors...^^

our school has homecoming courts as well. we just nominate people and vote for the nominated ones. but those who got the crown.. they dont do anything. you just win.

but the same people get the court nominations and win. its boring.. its all about how popular you are...

lol we have a "lord" and "lady" for each class...and then im kinda confused about seniors cause obviously we have king and queen too... but there were like 3 other pairs of seniors. xD runner ups? haha.

we take our homecoming assembly so seriously hahaha. well not SERIOUS, but it's pretty intense. it's about 2 1/2 hours long hahaha. x] it's super fun!
