is there such thing as a Sony Ericsson CDMA phone?
cause i know they have like GSM and all that jazz.
but my family might switch to verizon soon and i'm really biased towards other phones.
and is there a specific brand of CDMA phones? or is the only choice when with verizon (or any carrier that uses CDMA) to choose their phones?
where can one buy a CDMA phone (is that even possible?)
yeah i kinda feel like an idiot but, yeahhh..
anyone care to explain?
and yes i am re-using my old thread. why waste a thread when i could just recycle my old one? (:

1) Flip, i'd like it to be ALL WHITE. (similar to the ones i have pictures of?)
2) any brand
3) nothing is really VITALLY important.
4) AT&T (previously Cingular)
5) unlocked
6) hopefully under $300? (but i see most of the quadband phones are about +$400 @____________@)
please correct me if im wrong. i tried to understand the whole GSM 850/1900 thing..
so AT&T uses BOTH 850 and 1900? and 1900 is mainly used for roaming, and doesnt have a good connection in some buildings and when you get out into the rural places. 850 is the main for cell phones. in the city and in buildings.
@ DKYang -- so when you say it wouldnt work well, means that it would have bad connection?

Basically, you'd have times where you have 0 bars when you would have 3 bars because your phone doesn't support the bandwidth. So if you want to use AT&T/Cingular you'd have to get a quadband phone... or switch to T-Mobile

Sorry, couldn't find your white flip phone. If you were with T-mobile, then you have couple to choose from including the ones you mentioned.

Are you sure it's SAMSUNG W2700? It looks like a Softbank 707SC/707SCII.
