Are you sure those vitamins will be enough to substitute what you're taking out of your diet? Perhaps you should consult a professional on the matter to be on the safe side.

i don't think many people have the time to do all that exercise.

3hrs + 'dance dance revolution' every day?

no time.

You're cutting out entire foods groups and that is not good even if you think vitamins will supplement what you're missing. At least add some lean protein such as fish in your diet plan. A little bit of whole grain wouldn't hurt either. I also think you should increase the time you'll aloow for this diet. 28 days is not enough and frankly not healthy for such a drastic weight loss plan. I think 10-15 pounds a month is a better option. Not to be a party pooper but if you crash diet, you WILL gain at least some of the weight.

My mom and step dad did this, but they were on a fast.

They lost like a pound or two each day. It was some church fast thing. It wasn't meant for weight loss, but yeah. hahahahaha
So... I'd imagine it's safe. I doubt a church with a population of like 3,000 would do it if it wasn't healthy. xD

According to their diet, beans is acceptable, and so are nuts (they are fruits). They're high in protein, which is something you'll be missing if you don't eat those things.

GOOD LUCK!

You might be a bit unhappy with your weight at current (you're not overweight, BTW), but according to one of those random BMI calculators online, your goal weight would give you a BMI of 18.3, which would be underweight (rather extreme to say the least). Why not aim for somewhere in between that goal weight and your current one?

You will be getting enough proteins or carbohydrates in your diet. Without carbohydrates, you will not have energy. No energy means you will not be able to do those workouts or even function properly. Secondly, you will barely get any proteins. This means you will be able to recovery as fast. This means you will be working out some days without results. Why do you want to lose so much weight in so little time? That much weight should be lost in a minimum of twenty weeks. You only need to lose two pounds a week to lose your desire body fat in four weeks. To tell you, you will be mostly burning muscle. You will not have enough energy to do the workouts so our body will use muscle tissue as energy. The less muscle tissue you have the slower your metabolism will be. This will result in a large delay in results. If you want to do this, go for it. I really don't recommend it though. Well, good luck.

Isn't "thinspiration" for anorexic/bulimic/ednos girls?

Change it to "healthspiration" and also change your plan. I think you're going to be overexercising.

Fruits and veges for a month, fine, but don't overwork your body.

You may lose weight, but what are you going to do after the 28 days?
you need to be eating right & exercising for your whole life! find a plan that
you can follow everyday. Eating just salad & fruit is not good enough! you need energy
to do all that exercise. If you combine eating healthy proper meals(that include a bit of meat) &
your exercise plan, those pounds will be off in no time(if u do that everyday).

Well~ good luck no matter what you do happy.gif.

^ agreed.
please understand YEH is a celebrity,
she has to be slim to sell.
standing at 168cm and only weighing 50kg is too less.
this diet sounds really unhealthy.. :\
it will sound good when people ask you how much you weigh and you say 50kg,
but think about how much of the other nutrients you're missing.
i mean.. afterall it's your choice, right?! smile.gif
GOOD LUCK! and continue updating how you're going~

why is it 28 days? do you have a special event coming up? you should try losing weight in a healthier way. you're not doing your body good. make your weight loss goal more reasonable. say like 5 lbs in one month.

my mother's coworker drank one glass of water everyday before a meal and lost weight. maybe you should try that.

I went a little under because I know it's an extreme diet and I want to keep a little room to gain weight. I would be perfectly happy being 120-126 pounds.

My birthday is in two months, and losing weight is one of many things I want done before I turn 18. I just want to knock losing weight off the to do list.

I haven't eaten meat for about 7 years. I'm not worried about my hair, but I'm sorry about yours.

Actually 50kg is not my final goal weight. I just wanted to give a little room to gain weight once the diet is over. I would be happy weighting 120-126 pounds. The diet is not really unhealthy, nor is it really healthy. It's about as healthy as I eat now just less calories. Thanks for stating your opinion so nicely.

I don't eat meat, and I haven't for 7 years. After the diet is over I will become a vegan. The walking/running part of my diet is the prepare for me to become a runner, and I will dance more. So I 've already started planning what I'm going to do after.

I didn't know it was for anorexic/bulimic/ednos girls, it was just a term I read on another forum. Healthspiration is a good idea. If i think i'm overexercising I will stop, but I would at least like to try.

I don't think you'll be able to loose 40lbs in 28 days, that's almost impossible. And even if you could do it, it sounds very unhealthy to me to lose that much weight in less than a month, most likely you'll suffer from some kind of health condition.

Good luck by the way

You know I have read tons of health books and I kind of think that most of it is a load of crap. People have went longer without carbs and have been fine. But I'll see how it will effect me. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks. Tons of people do diets like this (maybe with a different name) and be completely okay. I'll eat nuts on some days. Thanks for the reply.

That much weight loss so fast isn't healthy at all. Just because the matter in which you do it doesn't seem so bad, doesn't mean it won't though your body off. I'm not saying its not possible or anything... just your organs might freak out to the extreme change.

At least make it 6 weeks or something. You're going to be super tired. I cut out snacking, had one sandwich instead of two and didn't eat chips and I was so tired. And I didn't do any strenuous exercise either. I still had brekkie, lunch and dinner and I was still tired. xD
What's your diet like now? I think maybe you should gradually decrease you meal size. A sudden drop may not be too good. And also start increasing the amount of workout as your fitness increases
Yeah, I dunno.. It might be good at the start, but I think you're going to get really tired. Good luck anyway.

Not only is your diet going to be unhealthy, more likely than not, you won't be able to sustain it. At the end, you'll just probably end up bingeing and overeating to compensate.
