So I try to straighten my front bangs and have them curve to the side but I always have a problem with the thinner front areas. I can do the thicker side bangs but the front where the hair isn't as thick, I always mess up on. It gets too straight and kind of juts/sticks out and looks weird. I use the $20 Conair straightener on Medium heat.

Here's a lovely picture.
1) is how I want it
2) is the hair being too straight at the front (usually just that small section)
3) side view .. sticking out

straighten your bangs on an angle with your straightener. don't do it vertically.

while you straighten , pull the straightener inwards instead of how you usually do it
so the hair will curl a little toward your forehead and looks natural.

I've tried angling it to the side and inwards but I still can't get it right. Is it cause the strands of hair there are too thin? aGhhh.

sometimes it go vertical because your hair is too light, just try anti frizz..... it will add some weight

what i've figured out is NOT to use your straightener when trying to curve your bangs to the side while keepig the straight look...my hair is kinda hard to manage so if your hair is like that you can try it...

what i do is i used a blowdryer instead...first (if your hair is dry) spray some heat protector spray (i use the one in the black bottle with red spray...sorry i forgot what its called). then brush that liquid throught your bangs...next, (if your hairdryer comes with a piece that's kinda cone/flat shape...its used to dry sections separate sections) use your hair dryer along with a small ROUNDED brush (SMALL so it doesn't leave it your bangs curled) and slowly dry your hair down using your brush as a guide!...haha sorry if it doesn't make sense...maybe i'll do a tutorial later
