i'm planning on getting the Sony Ericsson K510i, but does it work with t-mobile??
and is it a good brand/style?

p.s. what's the difference between a lock phone and an unlock phone?

yeah it'll probably work with t-mobile, you just need to unlock it
locked phones are the ones that carriers provide, they lock them so you cant use their phones with another carrier
so when you unlock a phone, its allowing that phone to be used by another/any carrier

The phone WILL work with T-mobile. As long as it has GSM 1900, which is the only band T-mobile uses right now. If you want to learn more about unlocks and etc, check out the FAQ.

Hmm...I would get the k550i, which I got about 2 months ago for about pass 200 bucks because it was unlocked. Im sure it will work with your SIM card.

Well I really love my phone!
But I've only had two phones so far and this baby's been with me for over a year
I think it's a pretty good phone

The camera's only 1.3 Megapixels but it's not too shabby :3

This is a great entry level phone for people who just need a phone to call and do simple tasks.


This phone is worth about 120. Getting it for 200 is a rip off.
