I kinda teach myself by watching online tutorials sometimes.

But at the moment I'm just practicing to BoA's "My Name" for a dance competition. I started out by practicing for 5 hours on day 1 when i didn't know a THING! But the times scaled down even more. Now I practice about 1-3 hours a day to perfect the dance.

For the 3 minute song it takes ALOT out of you! O_O Feels like you just ran the mile XD But it's more like a pop/club song so yeahs....

I've tried belly dancing it's really fun ^^ Doesn't matter about what body type you have. Big or small it's about loving your womanly figure :3

But hey~
Isn't it true that you lose more weight/faster to lose weight if you dance than run? Is dancing more effective?

I dance! and I love it.
Currently, I've been doing bellydance, expressive movement, and Nia.

afterward, I always feel a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

If you can afford it, go for it!

I would love to learn hip hop dance. I like the style of it. ^^

Take dance classes at a college or something. I knew some people who loved the classes at my school.

hmm dancing is really expensive for me..

i mean, i don't work and i'm under 16, which means even if i were to work, i can only go for McDonald's and such.

and the pay's definitely insufficient for the course. my parents aren't gonna pay for me either. THEY'D RATHER I STUDY.

boohoos!

anyone here like that too?

I normally just create dances to my favorites song. I recently learned the first part to "Irony".
I love to dance and it tires you out once you take a break.

I don't, but I'd love to take up a bellydancing class. I've done a few workouts at home and the exercises hit all the spots I want them to.

^ i dont know about how much weight you lose, but you work more muscles when you dance than when you run. but depending on HOW you dance & what you do i guess the amount of work-out varies? lol i mean, when i did ballroom i barely felt tired at all, compared to say, a ballet class. but then, the teacher saw my noobiness & took pity on me. hehe.

i love ballet class. & everything else. =)
hiphop is... different. but loving both styles xD its so hard to like,, transition from one to the other though
