why is it that some guys, when in a server and if someone mentions they're a girl, they start crap? they'll go "i bet shes fat" and "ugly" and "i bet shes like 30". are u guys programmed to think this way or something ? it happens a lot. and then they start cracking jokes about the mom. like wtf ? -__-;; its like, so what if i'm fat and ugly(jz trying to make a pt)? i'm freakin owning ur assss.

well it happened to me(AGAIN for like the 20th time or some sh). some guy said i was camping and i said, i'm eating and then hes like whatever and i go, can't a damn girl eat whenever she wants to in the morning? and then they call me fat -__-

so be honest guys, and answer my poll.
and if someone could give an explanation, thats wonderful.

Guys assume girls who spend a lot of time on mmorpg's are either guys in real life, or fat chicks.

thats just the stereotype people put on girls that play games its stupid but its one of the many things girls gotta deal with online

i mean think of if they knew u were hot it would be a like a chat room every guy like PMing u

also those guys say that stuff because they probably never had a girl before i bet
i know a couple of girls that are gamers that arent like that stereotype at all

Simply, they're just jealous dicks or maybe they've never talked to a girl on or offline.

Back in the day (way back in the day) when I played Mechwarrior, we had a girl in our clan who was actually pretty cute. She was better than me.

I am a guy gamer and I personally dont feel this way since I know a lot of girl gamers, but some of my friends do think like this. I have no idea why they do this, especially in the MMORPG's i see it happening. Try not to let it bother you, they are just ignorant

this is what i think of those guys:
they think that the only girls that can play well
don't have a real life to live besides staying home

stereotypically girl gamers are supposed to be "fat/ugly/nerd/whatever else"... I find girls that plays games interesting actually..

I recall playing Halo 3 with this girl and 2 guys were asking her questions.. they were asking her if she was pretty or not and when she didn't want to answer one guy was making fun of her and the other guy wasn't really doing much... the guy making fun of her was annoying int he first place and she was better than him too lol..

imo...stereotypes are what any gamer has to deal with..female or male
when i tell people i like playing games (rpg most of the time), they laugh, and start name-calling
"nerd", "geek", "loser", "no-life"....w/e
it really is just ignorance...so it's not a big deal to me
and i'd be lying, if i said i wasn't guilty of it a few times
whether we want to admit it, or not..we do get influenced by movies, and music
and their portrayals of certain things, to some extent
some, very little...others, a lot
so when a guy automatically thinks a gamer girl is fat and ugly...
it's just them not knowing better

personally..most of the gamer girls i know are hot mini cooper
not to brag. (cough)...but my gf is a gamer girl...and she's frickin' gorgeous
she has a similar look to seppuku, from the frag dolls (btw.. http://www.fragdolls.com/us/ )
and for the record...seppuku is not fat and ugly

indeed, when i play games and discover there is also another girl in the server i'm like

yay.
i, myself, don't picture a fat & ugly girl playing the game. i just picture a girl being herself and doing what she likes ^^ and i've become friends with some of those girls as well and to say they're fat ? thats a damn lie too. lol
