there is no "way" to grow taller. it's mostly genetics.

I agree. There is this shot you can get but it's pretty pricy. A couple of years ago I was offered the shot by my heart doctor but my family and I decided against it. I knew one girl when she was younger a very long time ago was having trouble growing and she got the shot to help her. If you have the money to do it talk to your physician.

There is only one proven way to substantially change your height. That is the injection of stem cells. Though, this procedure will only work if you are young. The operation is expensive and you have no idea how tall you will grow. You really should be happy with your height unless it is causing serious problems.

Im not sure if its been proven wrong, but Calcium is good for growing taller and bones while your young. My parents told me to jump and skip ropes to get taller, currently im 5'10 but it prob has something to do with genetics too.

Calcium only makes your bone stronger not help you grow taller. (I may be wrong.)

It's all genetics.

Read this:
Calcium is an important supplement that feeds your bones. If you want to be taller you definately need a calcium supplement. A normal healthy diet does not contain enough calcium to induce bone growth. To increase height, calcium is essential and supplementing your body with calcium is the right thing to do. Growth Enhancer Plus contains enough of the calcium you need to grow taller at any age.

  • The height of parents. Genetic factors “program” the adult height of a child.
  • The environment they live in. There is substantial scientific evidence that height can vary depending on where you live and the type of diet that one consumes. For example, the average height in Japan before the war was substantially less than it is now as a result of the transformation in the diet people now consume.
  • A diet high in protein is essential because protein is a growth hormone made up of amino acids responsible for causing growth. A diet insufficient in protein will likely result in insufficient production of growth hormone in the pituitary gland.
  • High calcium intake. A growing child requires plenty of calcium because it aids the development of bones. Although it isn't clear whether calcium helps to make bones not only denser but also longer, nevertheless, a parent should ensure a child drinks plenty food rich in calcium, especially milk.

i just read that sleeping at a certain time will promote growth. this is because apparently, during certain times your growth hormones are at work. the time is 10pm to 2am, but i don't know how time zones fit in, if you travel abroad. dunno if its true or not

Do stretching exercises every morning.

Simply have the bottoms of your jeans hemmed.

Cut back on carbs?

I read somewhere that Asians eat too much rice (carbs) and that allows them to not have
the necessary nutrients for height growth so cut back on rice
and indulge in more grains and other stuff...try like a Dutch people diet for a year

calcium only works when you're under the sun. needs the uv rays.

that's why there are people who have calcium deficiency even if they take in a lot.

saw it somewhere a few years back.

Go Swimming or Play Basketball. Those are stretching sports that can probably make you grow taller. Eat a lot of food (no fast food) and drink milk. That'll at least improve your health.

You know, being short is nothing embarrassing. People still look gorgeous. For example: Song Hye Kyo. ^^
I'm sure that you have plenty other talents.
