I don't know why so many taiwanese singers copy korean songs??
I don't know if they do it legally or illegally, but i heard there are so many ill;egally copied ones.
My tawanese friend was listening to a chinese song that was exactly the same as
Brown eyes- 벌써일년..... and I told him oh that's a korean song. he said really??
Also at school i heard a chinese ring tone, it was the same song as the Papaya's -내얘길 들어봐. (listen to my story).
i don't really appreciate them copying without taking credits to the producers or whoever made the songs
what yall think? do you have any simliar situtations?

some korean songs are remakes of american songs...or gasp...even chinese songs and japanese songs...every country does remakes...so its not that big of a deal as long as there is proper credit given and in most cases credits are given...
why stipulate over something like this when its all music to begin with?

they paid fot the songs, if they don't.....they'll probably get sued and that'll b worse
there's r more singers in taiwan that compose their own songs compared 2 Korea.......Jay Chou, Tank, LeeHom, Soda Green, F.I.R etc.

Energy remakes Se7en's song.. Kim Hyung Joong remakes Michael Wong's Tong Hua and the MV is like 99% similar. Every country does the same thing. Use the music, pay the owner. Musical free trade.
Some taiwanese singers remake korean songs, but a lot of them compose their own music as well... Jay Chou, LeeHom, David Tao, Tank, JJ Lin, Gary Chao, F.I.R., Michael Wong etc. In fact, i think Taiwanese are better composers than Korean.

It's not copying if it's a cover...
will pan did Free style's please tell me why
Tension did SG wannabe's Timeless (I actually like Tension's version)
but yeah Koreans do the same thing...some of DBSK songs are covers (well remakes of old korean songs too). Don't forget Lee Hyori's scandal with Britney Spears (was it her?)

i wanna know why do we have to create a billion of these threads a year?

but i thought the cover of Guang Liang's Tong Hua was horrible as everything from the song to the MV was totally alike ..
and if i'm not wrong, that remake of Brown Eye's song helped the female singer grab best newcomer at the Taiwan music awards.. and she's pretty much famous now ..

i agree.
they made a chinese/[insert language here] version of a popular korean/[insert language here] song because the people in [insert country here] can't understand the original song.

yeah, there was the exact same, pointless topic made a little while ago. -.- people are so ignorant. artists from one country can cover another country's songs... this has been happening before you were even born, so deal with it. one country can borrow the culture/language/ideology of anothers, right? then why are you freaking out about music? o_O
