I didn't think the balut would make it to number 1. Balut is pretty good but even tho I was born around that delicacy, I was still unable to get that feathery chick near my mouth. My sister on the other hand LOVED it.

hmmm the balut is gross..for the duck and the yellow part covered in veins imo. but the soup is pretty good. i don't think the balut egg should be no.1 though. baby mouse wine is sad

..i htink no.1 should be one of those that have bugs in them...like the ant egg or the larvae one eewww.

Balut is NOT gross. The guy who wrote this article is actually never try it, and still wants to flap his mouth as if he knows everthing.
