I want to buy my uncle a new phone but I don't know where to start. He's not into trendy ones, he's more interested in one that would last (is sturdy). His hearing isn't great so I'm looking for a phone that has a loud ringer+ clear/audible voices coming through while talking. I showed him how to store phone numbers on his current phone and it's complicated...it would be nice if I could find a simple phone that would make it easier for him to do that kind of thing. Nice slightly bigger than average number pad is also good b/c it'll be easier for him to see/press. If anyone could give me some suggestions I'd really appreciate it

Which carrier are you with?
I would recommend flip phones for older people. It's very easy to use, especially to answer/end calls, by just opening/shutting the phone.
Tell us which carrier you are with. I would recommend a phone from the carrier if they have any good phones for him. You can decide the sturdy-ness of the phone by going in store and playing around with it. I had the RAZR V3 and dropped it A LOT. Still works good, but slow user interface.
