Itunes always need to download the new version?

whenever i open itune it always tells me to download the newer version. is it necessary?

I'm not a tech expert but I haven't downloaded the latest version yet and my Itunes/Ipod still works fine.

not really, i use 7.4.0

most the recent updates was to fix some loopholes that iphone users were using to get free ringtones.

if its not broken, dont fix it. ie. if its working, then you dont need the update.

you don't need to because I never do lol

unless your i-tunes doesn't work anymore
