why buy intercoolers and cai when u can just rip off the bumper and hood for direct air contact?

Because it might not be as efficient? As you drive more air would probably go over the engine bay than through it. Well maybe... But for sure, you can't drive like that on the street without the chance of being pulled over. Plus it doesn't look as nice. Yay for the ka-t. Also i bet the pink one would look nicer if it had a black roof.

Salmon? I only see pink. I think it is cool to see girls drift instead of just posing as models. They must intimidate guys, especially the noobers.

There is at least one or two girls at every event I have been too, and I go driving with some every now and then... nothing too special anymore ;P Died out about a few years ago. There's plenty of talent though with the ones who are really sincere about it and try for their own fun.

A lot of people I know take off bumpers, fenders, hoods, etc because they can't pass tech inspection, ripped theirs off while driving, or have enough body roll that they are used to it contacting the road and decide to take it off.

Right now, I'm take off my bumper run it around the street. I would take out my hood , if only weather is super nice and leaving the fenders on. I say it would look decent without bumper because I want more air to cool down my turbo etc with stuff. Btw: I'm trying to a factory aero for 180sx style bumper, side skirts, rear bumper. so hard

I would put that stuff back on... you really shouldn't have that many problems with the cooling system and if you do then something is broken and should be fixed. Cars look a lot better when they have those things on too... whoever tells you to drive around without a front bumper or hood is a noob or screwing with you. It's a safety issue too.

That's not what they're for...

You can go wide open throttle. But not in everyday use as nothing is getting filtered.

There was one car on track that confused the hell of out of me. Everytime he shifted gears, his wipers would go.
