★MKMF 2007 Judging Synopsis
01 Judging Criteria
Records released from November 1, 2006 to October 15, 2007.
(for the album award, the record has to have been released officially as a CD)
02 Judging Method
Preliminary: 2007 Mnet KM Music Festival candidate selecting commission (all members of Mnet and KM PD) will lead to the selection of the candidates
Intention: Viewer poll (internet, mobile) and specialty judging committee decision, specialty research via observation and preference investigation, record sales, digital integration chart (with sound unit sales), along with a selecting commission; there are 6 categories in total that will be combined to come up with a result .
* Digital integration chart: Uses the 3 communications companies (SK Telecom, KTF, LG Telecom) mobile sound unit sale quantity and 3 online portal sites (Max MP3, Bugs Music, Muse)'s online sound unit sale quantity each adding up to 50%.
03 Judging Chairmen
Preliminary: Selecting committee (Mnet and KM PD committee)
Intention: Specialty judging chairmen consists of 100 people (among them reporters who are in charge of pop music broadcasts, pop music critics, pop music related teachers, pop music corporation organization groups, broadcast radio PDs)
* Music video section specialty judging committee will include 10 people in itemized operations (among them CF director, movie director, pop culture, critics, photographer, motion graphic designer)
