Charice Set To Dazzle Crowd at Obama’s Inaugural Ball on Jan 19, 2009

on May 9, 2009 (w/c happens to be her birthday) she and David Foster will have a concert on the Manalay Bay.... for another David Foster and Friends...... then BUT b4 that happens Charice is said to record her songs for her debut album in the US,,, and she hopes they can finish it early so that she can promote it in the Mandalay Concert....

Obviously I'm proud of Charice. That girl definitely has talent and i'm sure there's still room for more improvements. But thinking that she'd be better from how she is now just gives me the chills somehow. Charice has been one of my fave's ever since her little big star days.

But from what I've heard, she wasn't the winner in that "Little Star" competition? Correct me if I'm wrong.....

Oprah really loves Charice huh!

David Foster said that he's glad Charice lost that singing contest because if she won, he wouldn't have her now. It seems like Charice was destined to be produced by David Foster because David had 3 separate people recommending Charice to him: Oprah, his sister Jaymes and Perry Watts-Russell from Warner Bro. Records.

yes, besides i never heard that much from the winner of little big star. he's only popular to the tweeners but i dont think he's that cute(i have seen him in person) or that really talented. im happy for charice!

She was just third place... there was one more guy who won 1st runner up, then the Grand Champion (Sam)...

Accdg to a site I go to, their duet's still under negotiations so no confirmation yet. Don't set your expectations too high so the disappointment wouldn't be as great if it doesn't happen. Hope it does happen, though. I know David did mention Charice on his blog a couple of weeks back.

OMG. I did not even know she has a forum here. lol. I am happy to know that fact. I usually check the latest about her in YT and her other fansites. I came across YT video uploaded by hawaipnoi, credit for subs to amydien @ soompi. That got me curious. Hmm, may be she has a thread at soompi. What a surprise coz I visit soompi for K-drama updates.

My mom is a big fan of hers.

I mean I'm proud of her carrying the Filipino flag, but I think she's getting way too popular.
That it's gone to a point where she may lead to a cocky attitude.

But hey, she had a hard life so it's great to know she worked hard to accomplish things.

I actually support this girl. Cuz you see her or hear about her around and she's just a very simple girl but yet she's doing things most 16 year old girls haven't done yet. And she's like booming with greater opportunities now!

If you didn't know she sponsors 7 poor kids for their educational fees and supplies. In other words she pays for their fees just for them to go to school. She has the time to give back even while her career is going good.
