does any else here on the froums have this phone? my question is can you turn an mp3 file into a ringtone?

You should check out your book that came with your phone. It should tell you what capabilities are available with your phone on your ringtones. Go to where your sounds are kept (ringtones) and see if it tells you there. On mine at the top of the page it says to shop for ringtones etc. So check that out. If your phone is a newer one it probably does have mp3 capabilities.

i have this phone. you can definitely turn mp3 files into ringtones if u have the computer program to do it and the file is small enough, then it can play on the phone. I have several mp3 ringtones on my phone right now, but i mainly download them from ppl who have cutted the mp3 files. it's a neat phone. you can usually play mp3's with it's music player

or i did (i lost it T_T)

but

you can make .mp3 into ringtones but if the you have have to edit the songs to at least 30-40 secs or else the phone says that the song file is to big to be a ringtone

God, I loved this phone.. at least until the screen got messed up. > <

But yup. I had this program thing that came on a CD.. but I got it with the phone I had before it. But I think you can download the program. Its called "Samsung PC Studio 3". Its pretty easy when it omes to cutting music files. (:

My cousin has this phone, and yes you can turn .mp3 files into ringtones.
