I imagine nothing's impossible, but I'm pretty much positive you should NOT be worrying about getting it.

You do know how placebos work, right? They think they're getting a medicine, and their body actually responds to it. Point is: stop worrying and wondering about breast cancer at your age or something out of the ordinary could happen

cancer doesn't pick breast size.
size A or DD, you'll still have the chance of getting cancer.

generally women have a chance of getting breast cancer in 40-50s, when you're really old.

if your family has history of breast cancer, it is possible that you'll get it in such young age.
I've seen a plastic surgery show about a teenage girl who had a mastectomy (breast removal) because she had breast cancer.
Her mom and grandmother had history of breast cancer. When she's 18, she wanted breast implants to make her feel more like a woman.
And there's one girl from the first round of America's Next Top model last season, she's not even 18 y.o, but already had one breast removed.

if you don't have such history, just relax.... for now.

don't get paranoid if your family doesn't have a history of it
you're only 13
and someone'll teach you how to detect for signs of breast cancer when you get older

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.

Of course its not impossible, but since you are only 13, it is rare.

It doesn't pick breast size, nor gender.

I think I read sth that it doesn't actually matter what age you are to get it. Just like any other cancer.

But relax. If your family doesn't have history of it, you have minimum chances.

Criticism does not equal bashing.

there's a chance of getting it at any age but don't stress you're still developing but still watch out for lumps and abnormalties in your breast.

the younger girls who developed faster will likely have cancer in the future(somehow it relates to hormones)sleep.gif...
you can prevent it by having children under 25
so..marry when you are 24...and have children when you are 25?!?!

anybody can get breast cancer, we all have oncogenes in our bodies; it's a matter of whether they are "turned on" by genetic influence, environmental factors, etc. women who have larger breasts are more likely to have breast cancer, but even if you are a smaller size you should not take your health for granted.

at 13, it's not very probable that you will have breast cancer, as your breast tissues are still developing, but to be safe, give yourself daily breast exams. this sounds weird, but you should get to know how every part of your chest feels, so when there is an abnormality you will know it by touch right away. so stay on guard. a friend of mine found a lump in her breast when she was 22, and that is considered very very young.

PREVENTION IS THE BEST MEDICINE!
