Help! Cd Burner Isnt Working! HELPPPPP

Blah...
I don't know what happened to my CD burner... but the computer isn't detecting it as a burner. BUT it does detect it as a CD/DVD reader...
It won't burn anything!!!!

I don't know why it happened all of a sudden. It worked about a week ago... now it just died...

O.o

ANYONE HELP ME!

Try to uninstall your CD drive then restart... what else is there to do? Im not sure I think theres some aspi thing you can reinstall and all that but usually that fixes a lot of the issues you run into.

I did try that...

First it didn't detect ANY drive.
Then it detected the DVD/CD but not the RW (rewritable)

Hm....

I'll just call an HP person tomorrow...
