I don't know why, but recently, whenever I try to compress my .avi files to XviD MPEG-4 Codec, my computer would just turn off without any warning.
Does anyone know WHAT is causing this to happen? I know the compression takes time, and it takes a lot of my memory on my comp, but it was working fine until a couple of days ago...
Or maybe tell me if there are other programs as good as virtualdub that can compress video files?
