Now each situation is different and if your car is that glaring in comparison to your peers' and that you'd hate to see it damaged, then I'd advise you to rather be safe than sorry. And as a student, thats why I really like to lease my cars so if it really gets a knock or two, it wouldn't hurt that much because I know they will be bruised and scratched one way or another at our age.

But I wouldn't let my car run my life. It is an RSX. Only if I drove a $50k+ baller car I would really start worrying. I'm sure people your age would rather admire it rather than vandalize it unless you live in hicksville.
Other than stupid drivers hitting/dinging my car and one keying incident, the only other thing that people did to my car was spit on my window. What can you do? not much.

If you want to play it safe, just drive another plain vehicle to school... where no one will give a crap. Also peer pressure will lead you to trouble, don't question me on this or doubt it, experience has taught me this and i'm actually very thankful that I didn't go buy a nice car (or even any car) when I was still in HS.

EDIT: This ride is your b*tch and you should flaunt it for what it's worth. It's an RSX-S. Rock that b*tch.

If you were driving a Ferrari or Lambo then it would be a different story, but comon now, you drive an rsx.
Now if u had a crap load of expensive aftermarket stuff and don't want it stolen then I'd understand why u wouldn't want to drive it to school, but otherwise if u just drive a plain old rsx-s, just park it farther away and walk to class. The envy u might think is happening is if u just turned 16 and u get to drive before them. But other than that, the truth is that there's nothing to envy about with your car.

It's not a matter of risk... it's a matter of the truth.
Do you think they are jealous? You can only know for sure if you did actually drive your car to school.
But if your car gets vandalized, the persona "panda" and the human behind this persona is not liable to any damages.
neener neener... can't catch me~!

What might not be anything special to you, could be someone else's treasure. And the fact that cars are worth thousands, it would suck to have some dumb kid mess it up for fun. Fun aint worth hundreds to repaint.
