at our school, we have guidance people that does our transcript packets etc for college apps.
i had a lot of questions about the transcript and stuff so i went in and asked the lady my questions respectfully.
she half answered them unheartingly and then proceeded to refuse to include this thing i got into my transcript packet saying that it was "rubbish and that no one is going to read them anyway"
so i told her that my teacher (lets call her ms. brown) told me to include it etc. she says no and goes back into her office and i remember i have another question so i enter her office
and i see and hear her mimicking me in a high voice and laughing with another lady. i suprise her and she turns around and is all "oh hi sweetie..." and when i leave she says, "oh okay bye honey. im sure we'll see you soon. COME VISIT<- voice dripping with sarcasm"
and today she answered another question, "NO" and then laughed hysterically with the other lady in front of my face.

i left the office then i was tearing up.
i felt that it was really rude and nasty of her.
am i overreacting?

do you have your nasty guidance people stories? (lol)

lol you shouldn't let that go. Guidance counselors are not supposed to do that. Go pinkberry at her or tell your teacher or something. I know I wouldn't take that.

if you feel that bad about it, i would report it to the principal.
having a guidance counselor behave that way is absolutely wrong.
almost borderline immature to me.

you don't want to have someone like writing your counselor statements to your prospective colleges.

wow. what a meanie! you know, if i heard her mimicking me i would have glared her down and told her if she had a problem with me she can say it to my face. and then told her it is her job to advise me, and if she doesn't like it she can jolly well find another job. :/

i don't know. i just don't take crap from people like that. or i would tell my dad what happened and let him go solve it. lol. no one messes with his kids. haha.

Of course, I'm designated to one of them but I can go talk to any of them about anything.Anyway, you should report it to a teacher you trust and just go to another counselor.But I haven't had any bad experiences with guidance counselors or anything.Usually, they're pretty cranky on the first days of school though.What a mean counselor. i've had some mean teachers /counselors but... LOL that's just immature LOL.

my counselor isn't exactly.. mean but he kind of tends to....
make you feel like he's been in a worse situation
