Okay; for those of you that don't know.
The Palm Treo 750 is a Windows Mobile phone.
Here's the link to Cingular's website that lists all the features, specs, etc. Click.

Honestly; when I bought this phone, I did not think that I would run into this many problems.
And the amount of money you have to spend to make sure it runs effieciently is ridiculous. (The memory cards, etc.) On top of that, the miniSD cards that it uses are hard to find (in Vegas at least.) Only some mainstream stores sell it. Office Max and most of the Wal-Marts in town only carry it online. The data plan for it (to be able to have unlimited internet) is also taking quite a chunk out of my less than full wallet.

Before I go any further, may I state that ..
Yes, this may sound like a rant, and if you're going to give me some type of comment such as "Well, it's your fault for buying it !" then SHUSH UP ! I'm posting this to warn those that are MAY BE buying a Windows Mobile phone.

Anyhoo, onto more.
The Palm Treo 750 (that runs on Windows Mobile 5.0) has already been taken off the shelves. But the new Palm Treo 750's (that run on Windows Mobile 6.0) are expected on shelves soon[er or later]. And for those that currently have any phone that's on the Cingular & AT&T network and are a Windows phone, I pray that you have lots of patience, because Cingular hasn't released the Windows Mobile 6.0 update for the Blackjack or the Palm Treo. BUT HEY ! GUESS WHAT ?! Windows Mobile 6.0 has been released all over the world ! Well isn't that just grand ?
And this phone doesn't come with insurance. Usually, you know, if you lose, break, etc. something bad to your phone, you pay $50 and it's taken care of. (Well.. you have to pay like 5 or 10 bucks a month or something.. BUT most phones are worth more than that anyways, and it's a pretty good deal. Kinda like the iPod insurance ^^;; )

Battery is also a big problem. Well, it actually wasn't when I first bought it [in April of 2007.] Lots of people have told me to charge with it off, but that's kind of hard to do if you're waiting for a call X_________X;; The battery dies out pretty quickly. Most office workers tend to bring the charger to work and charge every 4 to 5 hours. But.. I can't do that. LOL unless I want my phone confiscated at school. So that's something that's kinda hard on me as of right now.

So just a little warning, don't buy the smartphones (BB blackberries) or the phones that run on Windows unless you want frequent updates or lack of required updates sleep.gif;;

Anyone wanna comment ?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Windows Mobile 5.0, people only want Windows Mobile 6.0 becase its new, it has a few new features, but nothing spectacular. And as far as the battery life goes, how's ur 3g coverage, if it switched between 3g and 2.5g alot, that might be your battery probem. Or are you using alot of data (internet) Push Email kills it too. As for as not being able to get mini - sd memory, you can find it at almost any Circuit City/Best Buy. Heck, you can probably buy it at the Cingular store.
honestly... you're not half as special as you think you are.

Cingular stores in Vegas don't carry the mini-SD cards. Circuit City has a limited stock. Best Buy is an inconvenience.

And the 3G coverage is fine, it doesn't switch between 2.5g and 3G.
And my phone disconnects in the middle of phone calls at either exactly 5 minutes & a couple seconds, or 12 minutes and a couple seconds.

Also, I do realize that WM6 isn't something spectacular. To be honest, a lot of the OS that people create themselves are better than WM6. And yes, I am aware that WM6 has problems, just like Vista (bugs, updates, errors, etc.) and I also do realize that people want it because it's new. But isn't technology supposed to be constantly updated?

And no, I don't use a lot of data & push mail.
