Operator Please are a band from Brisbane, Australia and are made up of 5 talented young people who play infectious indie pop-rock. Their average age is 16 and they made their debut appearance at a high school band competition.
From there, they have gained international success, especially in the UK and their home-town Oz. They have supported the big names in music like the Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs and Maximo Park.
They have new singles out 'Get What You Want' (yes, the one in the Virgin Blue ads) in Australia and 'Leave it Alone' in the UK. don't ask me why they are releasing two separate singles, cos i honestly do not know..)
Their new album Yes! Yes! Vindictive is out in November.

Australian music is at its prime now and it's a good time for new and upcoming bands to get noticed (and i realise there is an Oz music thread here, but seriously it seems wayyy past its expiration date)..
