Ok, I know this sounds a bit crazy but this is the first thing that came to my mind when I watched the preview of The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep. I mean, a little boy who found an egg and cared for it until it hatched into a dinousaur-like animal? Even the name of the dinousaur is alike in the Doraemon movie. Man, i hope this is original and just coincidence that the movie and anime are just similar. I'll be so mad if the script writer or whoever thinks he/she can use one of Doraemon's stories just b/c he/she thinks ppl don't know about Doraemon in America.

i'm not talking about doraemon, i'm saying this is similar to Nobita's dinosaur movie which is a Doraemon movie if you don't know what I mean already. I never said this looks like Doraemon

uhh to tell you the truth the story itself isn't very original anyways, anyone could have come up with. some kid finds a baby mystical creature and decides to raise it. the story has been done before many times.

You almost got me there! I thought there will be a movies for doraemon. I know that Japanese are "creative" in ideas for movies/dramas but to actually have a doraemon live action is quite... hmmm... off and well funny. I can'r imagine the actors for this one if ever!

well, there's is a live action for Dragon ball z so you can't say a doraemon live action is not possible XD. i think i read somewhere that there's actually a rumors of doraemon live action too, i might be wrong but http://www.tokyograph.com/news/ i think tokyograph mentioned it ages ago. again, my memories might not serve me right XD

no dude i know what you mean, i'm just saying that it's weird how it reminds me so much of the dinosaur episode of doraemon (yeah that whole movie is based on a chapter of the doraemon manga, did you know that?) when actually it has nothing to do with doraemon and it's based off of some novel.
