um...i'm not really good on the connection stuff but first make sure you're connected to the internet lol then make sure your firewall isn't on

you need to be more specific? did you check to see if your tcp/udp ports are open? can you not connect to a server at all? are you getting a lowID which is not allowing you to get any good speeds? you have to be more specific in describing your problem...

go to options > connections > and next to where u input ur stuff, it says like check firewall, etc
