im considering FIDM as one of my choices for college but im not 100% sure if thats where i want to go. although they have my interest and connections with the fashion industry, what is holding me back is how the student population is so small (avrg students in classroom said to be 15). this kind of leads me to just aiming for a UC. i would appreciate some advice from any student who currently goes to FIDM on just how the overall experience is and whether or not it is a great learning environment for anyone for that matter.

bad school. don't go there.
ask any of your college counselours and people in the fashion industry. they'll recommend other schools like woodbury

@ fidm you wont get your moneys worth.

generally, i'd definitely say it's better to have smaller classes, though not necessarily a smaller overall student body. smaller, tighter classes means more individual, personal attention which, in turn, means more opportunities to learn and grow. but then again, i guess it depends on how much you really want to get out of it.
i go to california college of the arts (CCA) and my classes are ~15 ppl or so and even in the 3-hr classes that we have, it's still not enough time to cater to all of the needs of every individual.
as for FIDM, it's an okay school, but only recently did it get accredited. my friend went there for graphic design and now she's currently a graphic designer for disney.
what're you considering studying anyway?
