is it fine to switch contact solutions with the same contacts ?
I've read that i should use the one given from my eye doctor guy but the one they gave
has something in it that can cause an infection. So i was wondering if i can just switch my solution
or should i ask a doctor first ?

I think so? Not sure.... ask your doctor in case? But, I've done it before, no harm done.

I switched my contact solution all the time.I don't know if its wrong or not, but I have not had any sort of infection.
But to make you feel better you should ask your doctor just in case.

You'll be fine.
As long as you're staying with hard/soft contact solution. You wear soft contacts, make sure you're still purchasing cleaning solution for soft contacts; if you wear hard (rigid gas permeable) contacts, make sure you get solution for those...
I switch my solutions in a daily basis. I use Opti-Free Express No-Rub and Aosept Hydrogen Peroxide cleaning solution. Both are only for soft contacts though...=)
oh btw: I recommend those two highly! ReNu is the one's that supposed to cause infections (and I think Boston as well).

^ Exactly what nanshi said!
I've switched mine a couple times without any problems, but I always go back to Opti-Free.

Oh noess. I've been using Boston. No wonder my eyes starting to get all itchy lately...

I've switched solutions many times and never have encountered a problem.
I found Opti-Free solution to be the most effective btw.

Yea i'm using Opti free express for my circle lenses right now but for my normal ones, i used Complete multi purpose.
But i have a problem for like any contact i wear. As soon as i put my contact in it feels very uncomfortable and dry. I check if its the correct way , and it is
and throughout the day when my contacts are dry, i use eyedrops but have no effect whatsoever.

I switched mine and nothing happened to my eyes so I guess it's okay.
