i wear contacts but i just got my glasses today and when i put it on everything i see is out of proportion and warped. do i need time to adjust to it or is something wrong with the glasses?

i think you just need time to adjust
i remember when i first got contacts
anything that was electronic and produces light would be really fuzzy and glowy
but i got use to it and it doesn't seem that way anymore

the funkyness between glasses and contacts is that you can only see clear in a little space after wearing contacts for so long lol

yeah, it just takes time to get used to
when i first got new glasses, everything felt warped too
but now it's fine

yea takes time to adjust
cos for contacts the degrees for ur eyes is diff
but when they make lenses for the glasses its a balance between the degrees
so hence it will appear blurry at first but u get use to it after a few days...

The degrees for your contacts would be less stronger than your glasses. Just wear your glasses for a while and you'll be fine ^^ If not then go to your optometrist to change the lens as they could be too strong for you.

lol i remember thinking the exact same thing, whenever i get a new pair of glasses i walk around and everything is so.... ROUND. ya know? but u just gotta get used to them. i switch between contacts and glasses and the same thing happens but only takes a couple minutes til my eyes get used to it now. took like a full day for me to get used to my glasses

My eyes aren't bad enough to wear contacts but it seems to me that it's just adjustment. I'd wait a few days before worrying to give your eyes time to adjust between the two.

I don't like wearing glasses. I wish I could though...glasses ftw! They just look really weird on me. @.@

Maybe something's wrong with the lenses but then again, you do need time to adjust.
