are you sure these dots aren't from scraching or because of the razer blade? i think you should consult a doctor about this, probably they'll recommend you a cream and they'll go away? good luck with that

i think i know what you're talking about. It's these red dots that appear harmless other than the fact that they are embarrassing. I went to a dermatologist and she told me that it was a skin condition known as Keratosis. More than half the population have it. There is no exact way of getting rid of it, but you can use some creams to soften the skin and scrub it.

Hope that helps...=)

i have it on my legs too. i've always wondered what it was. my mom has it too but hers is less visible (severe) than mine. lately i've been exfoliating and putting on lotion (very thick creamy type of lotion) and the area near my ankle has gotten better. it's actually smooth in that area. it took me a year to get to that.

i wouldn't say it's really bad but it's not great either...i can still wear shorts and feel comfortable.

I have both KP and those ugly red dots from shaving sad.gif
Ingrown hairs from shaving are on the behind my tibia and fibula...
But those "ugly red dots" are really common and known as KP... I have it on my arms and thighs as well. There's is no cure. tears.gif

there is no cure for KP but there are creams and cleansers out there to improve the condition of it.

glytone just came out with a KP kit which includes a cleanser and a cream and i heard that it works pretty well. the only thing is that you can only get glytone through a dermatology office i think. also, sephora sells a brand called dermadoctor i think and they have a kp cream..
the dermatologist i work for gives me samples of AMLactin which i think works for some people.
