how can you get rid of water weight?
i'm 15. i'm not fat. 5'4'/104lbs.
but i have so much baby fat~ why?
please don't tell me they are stuck in your body forever.
and as for water weight,
i drink ALOT of water a day. is that why?
would this be all cuz' of puberty?
if it is, does that mean it'd stop after i finish growing?
thanks<3
edit: i forgot to add..
i was pretty chubby or FAT when i was a baby,
and as a child growing up i'm just chubby even though i'm getting taller.
it wasn't til' the teen years i lost weight til' where i am now.

you'll grow out of baby fat hun!
and i know it sounds weird, but if you're retaining water it's because your body is worried it's going to run out of water - so its saving it! so i suggest up your intake in water and you should notice a difference! but it's odd, as you said you already drink lots. how much is lots?

i'm using this japanese facial wash every morn to get rid of water retention on my face. works quite well coz can c the difference in my double eyelids which became more obvious after using. it supposedly firms the face too but i guess i havent use it long enough to see the effect.
if u are interested in the product can PM me for the link..
meanwhile, don't worry so much! you are only 15, baby fats are normal! i'm 19, skinny everywhere else except for the face which is plain irritating =X

doctors say that the term "baby fat" used by people (not babies) as an excuse to pretend their normal fat will eventually go away, something they'll grow out of after their teens.
anyways, baby fat is what it is, BABY fat, and it is normally lost soon after the baby starts crawling/walking.
And you're probably not retaining water, since people who drink lots of water tend to not get as much bloating as people who dont. Just dont eat too much salty foods.
solution to your problem? it's called exercise (cardio for you) and do AT LEAST 30 minutes, 5 times a week. but you'll have to keep it up, you cant just workout, lose the weight, and revert back to your sedentary lifestyle. also, the time it takes you to lose weight and how much you lose depends on how much body fat you have (more bodyfat, faster loss of fat...opposite for skinnier people, however, you may gain muscle mass as well as lose a bit of fat).
dont forget, the muscle is denser than fat, so if you have the same volume of fat and muscle, the muscle will weigh more.

OOH. thanks<3
i tend to use 'baby fat' as an excuse too~~ XDD guilty.
the thing is the fat i'm trying to lose after i lost weight and exercised is not going anywhere.
it's still there so i assumed it's 'baby fat' and it'll go after puberty.
kittn: i don't how much is 'LOTS',
but i tend to drink water whenever and sometimes it's every 5 minutes a long gulp of water down it goes.

hmm.. i'd say cut back on salty foods then?
& if you look on packets of food you buy, you'll find alot of hidden salt in stuff you wouldn't expect.
alot of chocolate has high sodium count !
