I've watched the PV some days ago
i like the song....... a bit
sounds like redeemer stuff
is it just me or anyone think that their recent release were kinda.... err, boring ?

@FINAL CALL: It is different from the old stuff...but I like the way the band is heading, soundwise. I do love the old and very heavy stuff...but that doesn't keep me from liking the new songs as well.

Even though REDEEMER and the stuff that follows seems more...mainstream, commercialized (it's something I heard on another forum)...it still has something to it that makes it undeniably Despa's sound and music. At least I see it that way.

Tsukasa on vocals, Hizumi on bass, Zero on guitar, and Karyuu on drums.

Tsukasa has a pretty good voice

the tempo of the song slowed down a lil though

haha cute! Tsukasa finally shows himself in the front of the stage. I feel so bad for the drummers since they're always tucked away in the back and they can't jump around and get crazy lol.

the last 2 years the were one of my favorite bands... but lately i have a hard time following them
Still I think they are one of the truly talented bands in the VK scene

I want something similar to Yami Ni Furu Kiseki hehehee

Their songs are beginning to become more mainstream but I think that's with all bands really.
I mean a band usually starts off with something more raw and less defined and as they grow their knowledge of music grows too. They then find a musical direction and follow that, and if it means more mainstream then I think that's a good thing for their popularity.
Oh, I've gone off in a tangent but yes, this is how I see things.. I don't really like Love is Dead that much but I like Final Call a lot.

Haha anyways, I just saw them live for their Human Clad Monsters Tour in NYC.
It's been a while since i've seen them. The last time was for Taste of Chaos in 2008 with MUCC.
But dam they are still as good as I remember them. Hizumi's voice hasn't changed and Zero just never ages....ever. He's so adorable :blush:

They opened with their new songs which, sadly, I wasn't familiar with. I only knew Love is Dead and Death Point. They then played stuff from Mirror and towards the end of the night they played infection (my favorite D'Ray song) and garnet!

I got a poster signed by them and shook their hands woot!
I would have went again to their show tommorrow but the tix were sold out!! :tears:

Anyways, if anyone ever has a chance to see them, they should. They are an awesome live band.

Wonder if any of the old regulars still read this thread....
