I am interested in hearing what everyone's favourite Chinese food dish is. I would start a poll, but there are too many dishes to make that work! Does anyone have anything that they love above all other dishes? If so, tell us all and share the recipe if you can! I'm still thinking about what is my favourite as there are plenty, but I will post my fave soon. So, go ahead and let us all know your favourite Chinese dish..

Crispy duck in pancake rolls. Duck spring rolls. BBQ duck. I'm a duck addict, lol!
Other ones include anything with prawn. And wonton soup tongue.gif

Anyways, I will be honest. My favorite Chinese food: General Tso's Chicken! It's like candy chicken.

I love Szechuan food. Spicy foods are the best. My favorite is this thing that's called "Fu Chi Fei Pian" in chinese...I'm not sure what it's called in English.

"Pork Lungsin Chili Sauce " in english? i found its so difficult to express chinese snack in english laugh.gif

I love noodles~. all kinds (: so yummy.

ooh, I really like xiao long bao o___o; they're so good. and they have the soupy stuff in it...ack. it's the best. ^^

I think you mean Dong Po Rou right? It is my favorite as well; there is a small restaurant in the Xintiandi area of Shanghai that makes an excellent version of it:



authentic Peking Duck would have to be a close second.

yes,right...tells a story on chinese literary man, 苏东坡(Sudongpo) living in the Northern Song Dynasty. It is said that Dongporou was created by him, also as a gourmet... you know the history of dongporou and how to make it?i found an article would tell you-dongpo pork
