Uop - University Of The Pacific In Stockton, Ca.. Help, Please! I have a small emergency with applications! D: common app stuff.

Anyway, I'm almost done with the common app and everything, but the recommendations are stopping me.
I originally told my GLC (HS counselor) that I need a Secondary School Report/Recommendation by the regular decision date in January, and not the Nov. 15 deadline. BUT I didn't realize that the PharmD program's deadline is Nov 15.. until earlier this week when I found out from a friend. And my GLC said that she won't do any "rush" School Reports/Recs, so she most likely will say "NO" if I ask her to complete one by Thursday.
Pacific also asks for one teacher rec, which I can get by Thursday, since I'm TA-ing for my former math teacher, and he knows me well.
But here's the thing:
The Secondary School Report (from Common App) is basically my High School Transcript + a GLC Recommendation (which I heard are really generic, anyways).
and the Pacific also has its own separate application process (applicants can choose Common App or Pacific's app), but the Pacific's App ONLY asks for a transcript and one teacher rec.
BUT the Pacific's app asks for a different personal statement than the Common App, and I've already finished/only have my Common App essay.
So, would it be okay if I did the Common App, but instead of sending the Secondary School Report, get only my transcript sent (takes only a few days) from my high school?
For the Mid-Year report, I'll just have my GLC send that, since there's no deadline change for that..

You only need one recommendation. I emailed the person in charge of reading the applications because I was a little worried too, and he said you only NEED one. So don't stress about it if you only can get your teacher's one. Just ask her and forget about the counselor one, since it's either or for UoP. Besides, it's better to have one in that none right? As for secondary school report, I don't think you need to send one, because my post high school counselor went over it with me, and you don't need one for UoP. And.. as for the essay question, I completed my application through the common app and chose the "Free topic", and just used UoP's promt.
One more thing, for the rec, it's okay if you use UoP's online rec and still file through common app, they'll still get it. According to what Associate Direction of Admissions told me. And I think he should know his stuff. :] Don't stress!

I was going to email the admissions directors this week about everything if my GLC wouldn't write the recommendation for me.
If I don't send the secondary school report, I'd still have to send my High School Transcript, right?
And I'm actually going for the 5-year/2+3 PharmD program (not 7, my mistake D:).. but the admissions people get choose which one we get into, depending on our SAT II Chem scores (from what I've heard).
Thanks guys, again!

I'm applying to UOP Pre-pharm too...
but you DON'T need any SAT Subject tests, you can if you want though.
And they place you in each program based on your academic performance.

With my stats though, I'll only make it into the 6-year program. But I'm hoping to get into the 5-year program.
Good luck to everyone else who's applying!

I think that if they get it sometime during this month that it's fine.

Oh, okay thanks. As for the essay... I haven't finished mine yet, but the website says approx 500 words, not minimum 500, so I'd try to get as close to that as possible? Mine'll probably end up being ~600 words, I guess.

you thought it was really nice? it wasn't as great as i expected it to be. lol. soo.. for me, it was just okay =T
i'm freaking out now about how competitive it is.. T___T more people in my school are going for the dentistry program though and they didn't attend preview day
i still need to write my essay, too. lol. (i actually wrote one already but it's gross & so i'm writing another one). as for 641 words.. uh. does it fit within two typed pages double spaced?? if so, then i think that's okay.
