Haaaa, me thinks so too! Not being particularly observant myself ... does Gackt change the colour of his contacts? or has it always been blue?

I'm not going to say this as definate, but I've only ever seen him with blue contacts

^ mel, he's always had blue eyes, remember that one part from moonchild where they close up. they are ocean light blue...

I remember seeing him with grey contacts once in a while, but the blue ones seem to be his favourites.

Aside of all this He has worn also light brown contacts I think, for one Fool's Mate photoshoot. And also green ones, around MARS time (concert included).

Ne I'm going to say a few things of the concert... so please be careful and don't read this if you guys haven't watched it yet!!!
Warning~ SPOILERS ahead!!!




SPOILER In general I want to say that Gackt's voice is still awesome, beautiful & powerful. When I listen to him... *sigh* What more... oh yeah, the music of a few of songs has been slightly changed, as the lyrics of one song (I think U+K, though I'm not sure). All the ouftits are beautiful, especially the coat and the Todokanai Ai outfit


The mini-movie: I like it very much ^__^ The image of Gackt with white eyes is awesome. When they're riding on horses towards the DARTS is amazing, though I don't like very much the digital movements of the horses. And when they appear in the Tokyo Dome... wow, sugooo~i.

Dybbuk: I don't like very much this song, but wa, I love the live I like the sound effects (like the blades one), and the rap of Gakuto & You is great
White Eyes: Very appropriate song for this hehe. He sang it very well
Dispar... ummmm Dispar I love the dance, I love Gackt's dance
Metamorphoze: That microphone is soooo~ cool! And very good performance as well ^___^
Redemption: What a great song!! It sounds so so well! I love it! I'm looking forward to my copy.
Ash: Well, one of the "touching" moments for me... Ash is my fav' song from DIABOLOS, and he sang it perfectly, even better than in the CD, 'cause here he's more emotional... Aishnnnn Gakuto I love you so much ^__^
Misty: Another touching moment hehe... while he was playing the piano there I couldn't stop thinking of... well it's pretty hard to explain, but I can make it short and say that I was thinking of so much I admire him

Lust for blood: Maybe my fav' performance of the concert... The first part with all the GacktJOB with the masks... very Malice I love it ^__^ The coffin!!!! awesome. The "church" windows which the lights form... beautiful. The colours are so nice... The music, his voice... perfect. He looks like a real vampire to me
Noesis: I thought this performance was going to be different, but is really nice and somehow misterious though. At first I didn't like that weird criatures, but their outfits with the long sleeves are cool ^___^ Very nice indeed, I love the Gackt's movements. And the end is nice, how they "switch off". Btw, what do the pink criatures represent in MOON story? Maybe "normal" people? I say this because Gackt "bites" one of them.
Farewell: Great, with the torchs and the red lights

The other clip: I laughed so much hehe. Btw, I do love the Black Stone ouftit!!!!!!!1

Black Stone & Mirror: Great as well He always gets so excited when he sings Mirror And the MC in Mirror... yay, Gakuto indeed
MC: Haha, Gakuto is so funny When the two boys & the three girls are there I laughed very much And when the members are giving the things to the criying-girl... And yeah, You is touched there ne
Ah, there's two moments where Gackt says "arigatou..." and bows... OMG, that's too nice
U+K: Happy cats as always (btw, yesterday I noticed one of the cats -the green one- has in his head that veins "symbol", I mean, he's angry xD). I love Gackt's solo at first ^___^

Storm: I like the song, but I don't like very much the perf... 'cause the dancer's outfits are fine, but don't go with Gackt's outfit I think...
Road: Very nice Gackt's smile is the best


Todokanai Ai: Bufffffff OMG what a beautiful live!! The song sounded so well... And the ouftits, the blades, WA!!!

12Gatsu no Love Song & Love Letter: Very very nice, I was looking forward to see him "fliying" It's awesome, he goes along a large area of the Tokyo Dome. The violins And the end, with that effect is awesome ^___^

An that's all... when the video stopped and the TV screen went black... I was so sad and happy at the same time!! I wanted more ^O^

News from Gakuhai!

Over 6000 people went to the concert at the Seoul Olympic Park last night. Gackt performed 18 songs, and it sounds like everyone was very impressed with it all. Unfortunately, today's headlines are mostly like "Gackt faints at first Korean concert" (perhaps that's better than yesterday's 'Gackt says: "Jang Dong Gun is a hot man"', or the ones about him being 466, though).

Apparently he collapsed about an hour into the concert, at the end of a song. Two of his staff members carried him backstage, and they had to stop the concert for about 5 minutes while he recovered. It was just as the lights went out and so the audience didn't even realise what had happened until it was explained to them. But he came back out and greeted everyone in Korean, and continued without any more problems.

I have a last written test in the second week of February but in the holidays I will have to write up to four papers for different classes, so I won´t be having too much free time then . But at least no classes anymore ... and yeah, I REALLY wondered how you managed posting so many emoticons ....

Wah, fainting again.... I wondered how Gakuto manages to do so many three hour shows ... it must be so straining...

Well, I got good and bad news, the good news is, finally I watched the concert yesterday and it took me until 4 am to do so ... well, I had lots of things to say about this but now we have the bad news, my PC monitor at home today decided to cease functioning and blew up, so at the moment I am not able to use my computer at home .... waaaa.... I am currently writing this from work and it seems I will be unable to use my PC at home for the time being, and I don´t know how long it will take to get my monitor repaired or get a new one, thank god I have internet at work, so at least I´ll be able to visit the thread from here ....

My first impression of the concert in a few short words here (Highlight to read)!!

I loved the first part, many many good songs and powerful performances.... the mc and inbetween part was quite funny with the guy in the green pullover being the first on stage.... the movie before playing Black Stone was hilarious!!! Chacha was so funny in the Seventies dress .... the second part was rather short, wasn´t it?... and I couldn´t help but notice that Gackt was very cool often, not so smiley-happy as on other occasions, in other concerts.... he was too cool for my taste in some few occasions.... I would have loved to see him a little more "happy" at times.... and I noticed that some songs were played using playback.... of course I don´t mind him doing that when he sings a song like Juunigatsu no Lovesong, when he´s hanging on the wires or swordfighting but I wished he wouldn´t have used playback on Love Letter, as I love that song so much and would have loved to hear him sing it live....but there would be lots of positive things to say about it too, don´t have too much time to write them down now.... and You crying was so heartbreaking, wah...

Well, so much for now, but there´d be lots of stuff to say about it... gotta get back to work now.... I will so miss my internet at home ...

(Spoiler/ Highlight to read) Juunigatsu no Lovesong was a playback too it seems, well, Love Letter sounds exactly as on the Love Letter CD, even to the higher keys which are extremely hard to sing well live and the sound just sounds differently to the live songs in the concert which had the exclusive "live sound" to them... and furthermore you can see that he isn´t always totally in synch with the sound, his lips I mean... it struck me before that he often used playback in earlier concerts too whenever he had those swordfights and such but not on a slow song before, well, apart from Ares in the Mars concert maybe, but he also used the wiring there... maybe it was necessary because of the wiring here too and they couldn´t change it back for Love Letter, who knows? ...

Wah, gotta go home soon, see ya tomorrow guys, ne?

Well, maybe is playback, obviously I can't assure he's not doing playback but... we've re-re-watched the perform of that songs and we think they sound normal... and a little different from the recorded songs. For songs like Lu:na from The Sixth Day & Seventh Night I would understand he did playback (because the mask and stuff) but here... there's no reason There exists cordless wiring isn't it? I don't know, after the things that happened in Korea last June... I don't think he did playback in two songs But I repeat, I don't know.

Okay this isn't so much a spolier as commenting on what Esti said. I agree I don't think he would use playback after things in Korea. It may be that sometime things don't sync up on the tv, or when it was being transfered to the computer. It has happened with a dvd I was watching on the computer and all the speaking was off from the lip movements, but it was fine when I watched it on my tv.

That really sucks about your monitor Bianca.. and good luck with your papers!
