QUOTE(AmberKid @ Jan 20 2006, 10:51 AM)

Well...what should I say...I DID have a Gackt-dream last night, although it was kind of strange. We were both acting in a musical and in one part I was to lie on the floor lifeless and he was to kneel down beside me and check if I was alright. And I really had to force myself not to grin like a madman because he was so close to me...

That one was quite a weird dream ne

But hey, there was Gackt
QUOTE(AmberKid @ Jan 20 2006, 10:51 AM)

You're lucky, my mother HATES Gackt. She says he can't sing...

I would understand she didn't like his music, but to say that he can't sing...

QUOTE(AmberKid @ Jan 20 2006, 10:51 AM)

*siiiiiiiiiiigh* I'm really tempted to do a new picture for my sig or something with that quote in it. But I can't right now, I have to get ready for university...
Oh that would be nice ^__^ I really love that words, I agree so much with them.
In
Dears LJ a girl has researched for the meanings of the birds of Redemption
QUOTE
Symbolism in Redemption
These are the birds that I deem to be of main focus in the Redemption PV. I knew that Gackt wouldn't just pick some random birds, so I've done some research. Here are my findings. My opinions and relations are in (( and )). The country/religion of origin on the different views of the birds are italicized previous to the ideas of that country/religion.
The Owl *Seen In Glimpses Peering Around the Room* - A night bird that cannot tolerate the light ((Vampire connection)); Contrasted to the Eagle.
Eygpt and India: bird of the dead; omen of misfortune and herald of death ((Thanks Chacha))
China: Associated with lightening(which lights up the night), drum(which penetrates the stillness of the night), and yang(intensified to point of destruction)
Greek Mythology: Atrributed to Athena - Goddess of Learning
Bible: Unclean Animal
Christianity: Spiritual Darkness; Religious Knowledge/Christ ((Dear Church, Huh?))
American Indian: Deception
The Raven *Seen With the Pecked Heads of the Masked Men*
Orient and Occident: Evil omen of illness, war, and death
Bible: Impure Animal
Middle Ages: Gluttony ((Well, if it ate the Masked Men...))
Various: Divine and Solar
Japan: Messenger of the God; Sun Symbol (Esp. Red Raven)
Persia: Sacred God of Light
Bible: Noah released the intellegent raven to seek land
German: Strict/Cruel Parents
Christianity: Heretics and Unbelievers
Roman: Hope
American Indian: Magic
The Hawk/Falcon *Seen In Many Shots and With The Heads* - Predatory bird widely recognized as a symbol of death in Christian art of the Middle Ages (Hawk)
American Indian: Messenger(Hawk)
Eygpt: Sacred to Ra - Sun God; Horus assumes form as falcon with head under wing (Falcon) ((Thanks again, Chacha))
Renaissance: Hope for light to illuminate the dark (Hooded Falcon)
The Eagle *Seen Flying Into Gackt/Coming Forth From Gackt* - Sun and Heaven; Flight Towards Sky; Thunder and Lightning; 'King' of Birds
American Indian: Sun; Spirit
Greek: Companion/Symbol of Zeus
Roman: In Roman art an ascending eagle bears the ruler's soul, which rises to the gods after the body's cremation ((Rising Soul anyone? Eagle coming forth from Gackt))
Bible: God's Omnipotence; Power of Faith
Middle Ages: Rebirth; Baptism; Christ and his ascension ((Ascention and Rebirth... Hmmm))
Aristotle: Contemplation; Spiritual Cognition
Seven Deadly Sins: Pride
Four Cardinal Virtues: Justice
Jung: Father
I would highly recommend that people pay attention to the Biblical and Christian ideas, mainly because I know Gackt seems to love to play with them. I'll let you all come up with your own ideas for this, but I hope it at least makes you think a little. Please give me any feedback...
Wo wowo!! That made my ideas cleared ^___^ About the owl, I agree with the girl about the vampire connection. The Raven is the darkness, the Darkside Inhabitants. And the eagle is his soul. But I'm not sure what to think about the falcon...
Anyway maybe... his soul/the light pushes down/destroys the darkside -> Redemption?
Ne!! I've uploaded a clip!! Is this one:
