What I would like to know is why those are your favourite songs. Is there a story behind it?

Fragrance was one of the first songs I ever heard of Gackt. And Kagen was the first live I saw...well, the images of him with that lucky mic stand never left me...the sensuality of it...

Why I like Sakai~Story~ so much is a similar story. When I saw him singing it at the end of the 2004-live...*sigh*...and until then I had only known the instrumental version of it. Afterwards I started looking for the song...it took me quite a while until I got my hands on the CD.

The other three are a little more difficult to explain...those are songs that just raise strong emotions inside of me every time I listen to them.

here's my list again
Mine:
1: last song- this song has power behind it, when he sings really slow, it's like he'd given up hope, then a burst of pure feeling-- a scream at the heavens, questions unanswered, he's just watching everything disappear and hope to go along, but his earthly body keeps him here. The lyrics can almost make me tear up each time.
2: freesia 2- i like how he's a rock artist, but can also compose such beautiful classical music. The nice combo of violin and piano is great. The song goes through a roller coaster, which makes me think that he's telling me his past present and future in pure music.
3: miserable- i really like the beat in this one, and how great he looked in the music video. I think this song was written after he left malic mizer, and from the translation of jihaku, he really is miserable at that time.
4: secret garden- one of the first songs i've heard from him. it's just really beautiful... like all the pure things are lost in the world and he's just trying to hold on the last bits and pieces.
5: redemption - i really liked it since the first time i've heard it. The beat and lyrics are just great. the music video is really awesome too!! (it's a fav at the moment)

there are so many song that i totally lov, but it's hard to really put them in order, like freesia 1, vanilla, emu~for my dear, tea cup, U+ K, mirror, another world... and many many more are also favs... but only 5 slots... hehe

Ash is great great great. I love it because it starts softly and it goes up and up gradually; then his "Ash" shout and the guitar... And the "Just make sure to never forget this sadness by tracing over the marks of those tears with a knife" is just... woah

um... what's the performance mentioned...? i don't think i've ever seen that...

I've already watched the MARS concert DVD version It's great because some parts of the concert, when Gackt talks, have subs!!! And OMG such a beautiful words he says... I'm going to post them here, just in case someone feel like reading them

I remember! It has been a while since I watched it but I remeber sitting glued to the screen because I had to read the subtitles to my friend...he couldn't see them properly.

It was strange...it was even more intense when I watched it the second time. My two friends were sitting and talking, doing stuff at my PC while I was sitting on the sofa with tears rolling over my face. I felt silly somehow because they didn't react like that...but the tears just kept coming...
