Beat/music Making Programs..recording? recommendations??

recommendations anyone? I'm looking for one of those beat/music recording software where I can record my own songs and stuff.. I don't really know the name for it... someone help? haha any suggestions?

I've tried these types of software, I just don't have motivation to take time to learn them laugh.gif
