Not sure if I typed the title right..but anyway.

So I have Sennheiser 515HD headphones. They use the big input connectors therefore in order to use it I have to use an input converter for it.

People say (from various sources of user reviews) that the sound quality won't be as good connected to the MP3 player compared to connecting it to a Home Stereo Receiver.

Now my question is, how can I determine how crappy a set of headphones will play in an Mp3 player before buying it, if its at all possible. I was thinking of getting the Samsung T10 near Christmas or so and I don't want my headphones to sound horrible when plugged into it.
