9. I think this is worded funnily.. But uhm. I think this depends on what kind of people you're talking about/the group of people you're referring too. Because, say, in some Asian countries, teenagers commit suicide if they do badly in school, others commit suicide because they're attacked by anti-fans (>__>'')... In America, though, I guess it's just like.. I don't know. The whole "emo" scene and stuff, it all leads to that in the end, doesn't it (well not all but you know..)
10. Ch, like I would let that happennn. XD I don't know. I'd talk to them.. and made sure they got help for it. Because it's not something that one person, alone, can handle. If someone's honestly thinking of committing suicide, it's most likely related to depression, which has to do with a chemical imbalance in the brain.. And in order to regain that balance, a person would need more than words to help (aka medicine)

General sense of futility and insignificance. I'm being treated for Dysthymia.

It's a volatile time that causes bodily changes quicker than psychological changes. This coupled with the added stress of our society expecting them to choose a lifelong direction about career at this stage.

Lack of social support.

10.If your friend or family members wanted to commit suicide,waht would you do?
Talk to them and let them know I was always available if they needed help. Encourage them to see a psychologist and receive Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to develop long term coping mechanisms. If they struck me as being in a particularly dangerous state of mind I would recommend them to see a GP (family doctor) and be prescribed a tricyclic anti-depressant until they'd had time to attend several CBT sessions.

Not with anyone who I had sustained contact with prior to their suicide. Several people with suicide attempts though.

The same answer as Question 10.
As well as increasing community awareness about the warnings signs and risk factors for Depression and suicide.
