Pass The Bugs Please

If you are tired of the traditional meal, how about cooking up some crickets or mealworms?

Feast on such dishes as sauteed crickets, crab boiled mealworms and mealworm pizza, fire ant quesadillas, pizzas with crickets, termite bark and cricket brownies. the insects or insect parts are eaten with everyday food.
Foods, such as grains, are monitored for the quantity of insect parts in the food. The insect parts are barely noticeable to people and are harmless.

In sixth grade my teacher ordered from this specialty candy/snack place that made science-y food. I tried seasoned and chocolate covered meal worms, they weren't bad. Very crispy laugh.gif

There's a country that loves fried spiders! I can't remember which though.

I don't think I could ever eat bugs and insects as delicacies!

Those stuff are delicious, you just look past the appearance. It seems gross but it's quite yummy.

I LOVE FRIED INSECTS, man.

Think about it. If you like shrimp or crawfish, they're no different than insects.

I think that might be some parts of Southeast Asia...

...I went to Cambodia and ate beetles...they eat it like it's candy. My description of the flavor? crunchy on the outside and a bit salty on the inside. I saw fried up grasshoppers and spiders being sold on the street...that was an interesting sight.
