I was checking out shinhwa.biz (shinhwasarang)
and there was an article and SG wannabe commented saying that you make music for the enjoyment of the people not for the awards.

I know eveyone is entitled to their own opinon but that's basically saying that Shin Hye Sung is being petty as along with minwoo and dongwan who didn't show up to the awards cermony. And people don't really know that feeling of getting something taken away from you that is supposed to be yours. It sucks and Hyesung didn't just get robbed of one but THREE! Also he worked so hard on this album he deserved every right to those awards.

I just thought their comment was just a little rude.

What do you guys think?

it's just normal comment, there is nothing rude to this. i am ok it. even you don't get an award but people still recognize you by your talent.

Yeah, SG WAnnabe didn't work that hard this year as much as Shin Hyesung and Minwoo. When did Shin Hyesung and Minwoo started promoting their album?

Of course, if you're a compassionate singer, wouldn't you rather make/create music not for the awards, but for the effects on people? SG wannabe NEVER mentioned that those singers (shinhwa, which i believe you're a fan of ) were 'petty' or any form of that, which is where YOU'RE overexaggerating and making something that doesn't mean anything, to something so big. It's really nothing.

SG wannabe are implying the EXACT SAME THING AS WHAT THE SHINHWA BOYS DID BY LEAVING/WALKING OUT ON MKMF. Shinhwa walked out of mkmf because they thought it was pointless to go to an award ceremony that's continuously bias, showing that they're more compassionate about music than a silly award. Isn't that what sg wannabe said? Please don't over exaggerate.. it seems really pointless and immature is some people's view, no offense.

Are you kidding me? I think the only people that should be complaining is SG Wannabe.
Wasn't there this huge controversy last year when they didn't win any of the Daesangs?

unless they specifically dissed other gasoo by name--I wouldn't get upset about what they said--because it's true. Most gasoo make music because they have to (they must do it to survive mentally/emotionally) and because they want to share it with others. Not specifically for the awards.

I think it is not rude at all. After all, if all singers want to make music because they want to get award or anything then why we still have underrated singer that dont become popular just because they had good music and material.

Not everything resolved around awards or how popular you are or how much money you make.

wasnt there some controversy sometime ago (i think it last years mkmf or the year before) that they didnt win any of the daesangs? so i'm pretty sure they know what kind of feeling both minwoo and hyesung are going through
but yes, i agree with what they said, you make music because you simply love music

I thought that their comment was fair and justified.
I agree 100% with what they are saying.
I think Shinhwa hardcore fans are "too into it", they aren't seeing the bigger picture.
They aren't seeing that MKMF are not the only Korean Music awards or that as SG Wannabe said "you make music for the enjoyment of the people not for the awards"

I agree with their words.

But then again, I think that Minwoo's action of cancelling out at the last minute was very unprofessional. If he thought that the award show isn't fair, he should have claimed that he wasn't going to attend it first.


The MKMF award has always seem "tacky" to me from the previous years...
