you can get a prepaid tmobile sidekick its like 1$ a day for unlimited data and 18 cents/minute per call
tmobile only has like 3 phones
but when i lookedinto getting prepaid i was looking for who had the best service
so yeah.
my phone is the virgin mobile cyclops, its cute i guess...its customizable too (cause i bought a USB data cord off ebay and i can put my own ringtones, wallpapers and games, and can drag out my pix
) and virgin mobile is pretty awesome, they have this thing where you watch commercials and you can get 5 free minutes a day (75 max a month) and your minutes dont expire so they stack up so if your not much of a talker its nice (all you needa do is top up 20$ every 3 months and your good togo)
but yeah iono where your from so the phones could be diff where you live

if you get prepaid from at&t or t-mobile, you can buy unlocked phones to use with their sim card
there's usually really cheap ones at $20 for a prepaid kit
then you can spend however much you want on a slider or something

i justtt got a quick question though... if i bought a phone and didnt like it, can i just take out the sim card and buy a new one , get it unlocked and use the same sim card?? cause i dont really want to switch my phone # again

If you get a prepaid phone with T-mobile, you can get one of their actual contract phones and buy a prepaid sim-card and use it. My mom did that with my old razr and it worked.

You can use any unlocked GSM phone, as long as you have the SIM card.

wowwwwwww i never knew that !
so my current phone atm is a prepaid cingular one .. i can take out the sim card, buy a unlocked gsm online, then put the sim in and it'll work?
