So how many times did it take you to get either one of them?? or both??

i took my permit test on black friday and failed >.<! the most i could get wrong was 6 and i got 7 wrong!! omg!!! i was so sad.. ima take it again tho next friday so.... WOO MUST STUDY! lol i didnt read the book the first time so that might be it.. plus i dont know the punishments for when you do something wrong... hehe lol

but its such a waste of money for us to spend 30 bucks each time we take it...

You have to pay to take your test? o_o It's free for us. I passed both my written and driving test the first time, surprisingly. ^^

I don't know where you're at, but you don't need to spend 30 dollars each time to take it. o_O
It took me twice to get my permit. The first time I missed 9 when I could only miss 6 and on the second time I barely passed with missing 7 when 8 errors was allowed. Never read the book a second time so I was pretty happy.

I got my permit after my first try.
Plus I only studied for 3 nights before taking the test.
And for us, it was $40.

I haven't gotten my license yet.
Still in the mist of taking driving lessons.
Will soon though.

I passed my written test the first time...but it took me ages to pass my driving test...
I'm almost embarrassed to say how many times lol!............


It took me four goes to pass...haha! Terrible, I know, but I passed in the end!

i live in the Mass. so we have to pay 30$ each time we take it >.< my parents said that when they had to take it, if they failed the first time they can just retake it with out paying again.. times have changed....

I passed on the first time for both permit and license.
One of my friends had a website that had all the versions of the permit test online, so I just took the test over and over until I got everything right. I only got 1 wrong on the real one.

Permit -> passed first time .. I don't renember how much it cost.. $15? 20? ?_____?

My cousin failed his (he missed 9 and you can only miss 8) but the guy who corrected his test let him pass cause his son had the same birthday as him :|

License -> 3 times XDD I haven't used my license since I've gotten it hahaha. There was a $6 fee for the second and third time I did it ;_; not as ridiculous as $30 though o_o_o where do you live? didnt see your post. XD

I think I took the permit test 3 times. The first two times I barely failed. The 3rd time I studied my friend's old permit test and I got lucky and passed because it was the same one I took.

The license test I passed the first time... with a 70! Yeeeeeah!

I think in California you get 3 chances before paying again for the next set of permit tests. Please correct me if I am wrong, it has been a long time and it might have changed.

i took my permit once (skimmed through the book the night before) which was around $25..then i took my license twice on the written part and once on the driving part 95% whoo!..costed me like $55 though..

i did it again like 10 minutes later and managed to pass :]

i've driven a few times, but i'm really reckless and i drive too fast. my parents are afraid for me.

lol aww its okay! hahahahahahh . i been in ur position.
wen i took it in san francisco i passed my permit by first try. i got all my friend's tests and studied the answers off of them =D
as for license, i took it in arizona i took my permit there failed it three times. passed the fourth time. lol and passed on the first try for driver's license test.
