Hahaha, yes! I blame my big feet on my parents for always buying me shoes a size bigger than my feet. >>
That's why I can still wear some clothes from 7 yrs ago.
It's an Asian thing.

i dont think thats an "asian" thing.. parents buy bigger clothes bcus kids grow fast, and its kind of retarded to buy a shirt that'll fit one month and later be two sizes too small..

Yeah, lol. Even at my school, the uniform shop ladies would give us a huge size because we'll supposedly fit into it in the years to come.. but the sizes were WAY oversized. Ugh. And the school started being so anal about uniform rules... their fault for giving us huge sizes! -.-"

Hell yeah. My parents would buy cloth for me that wouldn't fit for years. I looked so ghetto in the day. Now, when I get gifts from my family the clothes are way too small; it isn't exactly small but tight. They are really into fashion but not what looks good on a person. haha.

My parents would buy shoes 1/2 - 1 size larger and just make me wear thicker socks if it was too loose, but since my feet started growing heaps they bought me shoes a size smaller (modern foot binding lol), but i had blisters from having to walk to school in them so they gave up on my feet.
Now its a size 9/10 AARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH
Since I'm Asian, its impossible to buy shoes in asian stores T_T

Definitely. I shot up a few inches in elementary school and ended up at 5'5 in the fifth grade, so my mother never could really keep up with clothing sizes. And, to make matters worse, my feet began to skip sizes in shoes, so my shoes would often be too small. My clothing size skips stopped in middle school and so did my shoe size.

Finding shoes was stressful then and it's even more stressful now because I wear an 11 (Women's).

Don't you hate it when your ASIAN parents tell force you to get clothing that is bigger so that you can wear it next year?(even though you hit puberty and your not about to go through a second growth spurt) Anyways, I still remember my parents would always disguise the reason, they keep insisting that loose fit will feel better, and looks better than Tight fit/perfect fit. Sigh.. Im glad I work, so that I have my own money, I DONT HAVE TO REPLY ON PARENTS MWAHAHAHAH.
