Hey guys,

I hope this hasn't been posted yet.

Basically, I want to hear your opinions on those 3 companies. Which one would you prefer, and why? What are the pros and cons of each brand? Also, list your personal experiences you've had with your phones, that would help too (battery, screen, calling, camera, etc). I excluded motorola because I consider it the worst of all, in my opinion, so there's no real need to compare it.

I want to get a phone in china that you can't find in north america, but I'm not really sure which company I should pick between those 3. Some models in asia were pretty crazy, and they work here if you just switch sim cards. I currently have the razor and I hate it, so I just can't wait to change it.

i prefer sonyericsson, b'cuz their phone has style, looks really HOTT! also, most is music phone, and i listen to a lot of music than actually calling ppls, so i prefer their phone. Quality wise, its really good too. I'm using a OLD sony ericsson and it has been years, it still works. haha and ye, i'm buying a sony ericsson in china too, deciding between w910i and w380i. =D

next is nokia, cuz apparently, their phone has good quality and hard to break. but their isn't any nice ones, compared to sony ericsson that is, =D

samsung....not my fav. quality and appearance wise. wink.gif used one AGES ago, and it turned out crap so never used it again. xD

1) Sony Ericsson. blush.gif Love my current phone, and since I listen to music alot, I got a Walkman phone. But anyways, my friend dropped her phone from the bleachers, a good 15-20 feet up, and the phone didn't even break.
;x YAY@ HARD TO BREAK PHONES.
Thanks mama_gir1!

Really depends on what you're looking for. My first phone was a Sony Ericsson S710a and I loved it but when I got the Samsung D900 I loved it more, and then I got the Samsung U600 and I loved that more lol.. I'm not fond of Nokias. Samsung batteries aren't good though. If you use your phone a lot and it's features like the mp3, bluetooth, games then the battery will ran out by the end of the day.

Oh and btw if you're going to buy one in China and use it in the North America make sure it's unlocked in the first place wink.gif.

My first three phones were all Samsung and they were okay. I remember I really liked my SGH-D415 (the first Samsung slider haha) but it died after a year =__=

Then I got a Sony Ericsson W900i and I LOOOOOOOVED it. Like I loved loved loved that phone. I loved the cameras, I loved the customizable themes, I loved the freedom to set mp3's as ringtones, and I even loved its chunkiness. But I had to move to Verizon Wireless from T-Mobile so I couldn't use it anymore TT^TT Anyway between Samsung and Sony Ericsson, I'd have to say Sony Ericsson because it was just better in every aspect imo - battery life, easiness, photograph qualities, etc. However I haven't really used the newer Samusng cell phones, so I think they're both good.

And motorola phones may suck but I really do like the KRZR. I used it for a little bit and I thought it was really pretty. The only thing is that the screen is not very clear (not many pixels).

Hmm. It seems that my post was completely useless mellow.gif Anyway they're all good companies, so no matter what you choose, I'm sure you'll be happy ^^

i have a nokia phone now and i must say its really unbreakable. ._. i've dropped my n73 several times but its good as new (looks wise). the battery is great! full charge is only 1 hour and it can go until after 2 days (if you don't do anything to it but text and call a bit..) but, i've had a bad experience with n73~ but the nokia help center is great. XD haha. so yeah, and i used nokia before too, during the 3310 days. LMAO and they're really hard to break. :X i've had 3310 for like 2 years and it fell off in great heights and worked well. lmao. also it's friendly user! my uncle didn't want other phones but nokia because he find others hard to use. ._. lol

motorola is okay for me. ._. my mom has the L7 and most of my friends use razr. lol i don't know why most of you don't like it. i find it average and the battery is pretty good.

i never had samsung but i seriously think it has the most gorgeous phones ever, even though i hear some problems concerning the battery.

I've only had Motorola and Nokia. So, I won't comment on others.

Motorola sucked because the UI was laggy. Although, the build was strong since I dropped the phone a lot on concrete. Lots of scratch marks, but working really good. The crappy UI messed it up. This is the RAZR V3 I'm talking about, now they probably improved it.

Sony Ericsson. I love it. Only got one phone from them and I really love it. Lots of customizations available. Themes, games, ringtones, etc. You can find stuff for it online and not a lot of people here have the model I have. Great UI, fast and not laggy. Battery life is great. I just wished that they stop playing around and release some serious phones.

Seriously. I wish they had a quadband phone in white with a 3.2mp camera with autofocus. I know I could get the K850 but I wanted something from the W series since I liked the W900i so much. Like the new W910i coming out except it doesn't have autofocus sleep.gif Am I expecting too much? I don't think I am ._.

Nokia!! smile.gif I love their phones, battery life is great and the camera is pretty darn good. It's very durable even though I've dropped it like 1000000 times, lol!

Well, with walkman phones not having AF makes sense since it's a walkman line and music is more important than camera. There is a rumor that a white K850 will be released, no concrete evidence though.

sony ericsson all the way!
- batteries long lasting
- the phone is able to use uploaded songs as ringtones and such (the ones not bought in american phone stores)
- amazing design, i love how most of their phones look like an actual camera from the back.
- durable, mine lasted through manyy falls.
- other features are great (depends on the type of phone)

i'd say nokia is next in line. their phone design is pretty nice too, but their graphics (menu on the phone) is a big 'NO' for me.
Samsung is a bit too plain for me, the new designs however are alright.

I currently use a Sony Ericsson k550i and I'm in love with the thing. But the only bad thing about this phone is it scratches very easily. I have little scratch marks on my phone already, and its only 2 months old. sad.gif But anyway, I really like Nokia & Samsung too. I guess it depends on what style you like from the companies.

^Hey me too. I have the Sony Erricsson k550i and its white, its a really great phone with an aforable price.

However, considering how many times I dropped it, the sides are bruised up bad.

BUT, the screen can never scratch. Its just like magic or something.

I remember having the very crappy Nokia 5300, one little scratch is like slicing the 3rd layer of the skin, god I hated that phone.

But been using my lovley SE for 4 months, with many scratched though =[ Im clumsy =X

most nokia phones are really ugly in my opinion..
they look too business like for my liking
but thye last really long. theyre like unbreakable
my mum's had hers for YEARS

but personally i think sony ericssons are the best
i have one and i love it
good functions, pretty good looking, affordable and VERY good battery life
you can customize them too..like u can even make ur own theme!
it also comes with these programs that makes it really handy to transfer files from comp to phone/vice versa
only bad thing is they scratch really easily

samsung is alright..most samsung phones are really slim and stylish
functions are pretty good
but battery life sucks and its overpriced i reckon
