I hope someone will be able to help me with a question. I'm looking for this infant disease. It occurs if you leave a baby in a carseat, or flat on its back for a long period of time [I'm talking about 8+ hours]. I think it loses its motor skills, or develops some sort of neurological problems. It isn't hereditary. I know that.
I know it isn't a lot of information, but if you happen to know what it is off the top of your head, I would really appreciate any help I can get.

Sudden Infant Death Syndrome?
It has something to do with the baby's brain stem, involving serotonin that controls emotions and vital body functions in the baby's body.
It could be the syndrome you're looking for. ^^
